Jalupro in Rossendale
Jalupro is an amino acid and hyaluronic acid injectable for skin density. I do not use it — I use Sunekos, which works the same way, and this page explains the difference.

I do not use Jalupro. For the same job I use Sunekos. It is the same category — hyaluronic acid combined with amino acids — and it is the one I use for skin that has thinned and lost density. The comparison is set out below rather than left for you to discover at the consultation.
Jalupro combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids: the raw materials the skin uses to build collagen. It is a real and well-established treatment and I do not offer it. What I offer is Sunekos, which sits in exactly the same family and does the same job, and if you searched for Jalupro that is the honest answer rather than a redirect to something unrelated.
What the amino-acid injectables do
This category supplies the skin with the building blocks it needs rather than adding volume or spreading hydration through the tissue. Hyaluronic acid carries the amino acids into the dermis; the amino acids are what the fibroblasts use to rebuild the extracellular matrix.
It is used where skin has thinned and lost density, and it is well established around the eyes, the mouth and the neck — areas where the skin is thin enough that a volumising product tends to look wrong however carefully it is placed.
Sunekos and Jalupro are both in this family. So, from a different direction, are the polynucleotides, which signal to the repair machinery rather than supplying materials to it. Which of the three suits you depends on your skin and the area, not on the brand.
Why I use Sunekos instead
Sunekos is the amino-acid injectable I assessed as the better fit for how I work and for the areas I most often treat with this category — under the eyes and around the mouth in particular. Having one product I know well beats stocking three I know moderately.
That is the general principle here rather than a criticism of Jalupro. A clinic that offers every brand in a category is usually offering whatever the last rep sold it, and the depth of familiarity with a product matters more to your result than the label on the box.
What Sunekos involves
A course of four sessions spaced one to two weeks apart is typical, with the result continuing to develop after the last one. Maintenance is usually every six to twelve months. Sunekos is £250 for a single treatment or £700 for a course of three.
Downtime is minimal — small bumps at the injection points that settle within hours, and occasional bruising, which is more likely under the eyes than anywhere else.

- Do you offer Jalupro?
- No. I use Sunekos for the same job — hyaluronic acid with amino acids, for skin that has thinned and lost density. If you have had Jalupro before and got on with it, tell me at consultation and we will talk about how the two compare for your skin.
- Jalupro or Sunekos — is there a real difference?
- They are closely related and both give the skin building blocks to work with. The formulations differ in their amino acid profile and their protocols differ slightly. For most people the more important variable is which one the person injecting them knows well.
- Is this the right treatment for under my eyes?
- It can be, and it is often a better answer there than filler. Polynucleotides are the other strong option for that area. The choice comes down to whether the skin needs materials or needs signalling, which is what the assessment is for.
- What does it cost?
- Sunekos is £250, or £700 for a course of three. Jalupro is not priced here because it is not offered.
