How much does marionette lines cost?
£350
at Charis Aesthetics, Stacksteads, Bacup, Lancashire
All dermal filler here is Restylane®. Each area is priced as a treatment, not by the syringe: the price reflects the area, how complex it is to treat well and the time it takes, and it covers the product that treatment normally needs, with nothing added per syringe on the day. Pricing by the syringe tends to make people want the full amount because they have paid for it, and overfilling is one of the main reasons filler migrates. If your assessment shows more would genuinely help, that is discussed and priced before anything is booked.
Softening the lines that run down from the corners of the mouth — by restoring the support around them, not only filling the crease.
What the price includes
- A full-face assessment, not just a look at the area you asked about.
- The treatment itself and the product used — traceable, and the batch recorded against your notes.
- Written aftercare before you leave, and a direct number to reach me on if something concerns you.
- A review at two weeks, where we look at the result together and adjust if it needs it.
- Any adjustment made at that review, where it is a refinement of the treatment you had.
A consultation is £30, and that comes off the cost of your treatment if you go ahead — so if you book, the consultation effectively costs nothing.
On cheaper quotes
You will find this treatment cheaper elsewhere in Lancashire, and it is worth understanding what usually differs. Genuine, traceable product costs what it costs. So does medical indemnity that actually covers the treatment, single-use equipment, holding hyaluronidase on site, and being registered with a professional body that can hold you to account.
| What varies | At the lower end | Here |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Unbranded, parallel-imported or not traceable to a batch | Traceable, batch recorded against your notes |
| Who treats you | Sometimes a non-medic, sometimes supervised remotely | A registered nurse, NMC PIN published |
| Indemnity | Often generic cover that may exclude the specific treatment | £5m medical malpractice, underwriter and policy number published |
| Complication cover | Frequently no hyaluronidase held on site | Held on site, with training to recognise and manage occlusion |
| Review | Rarely included, sometimes charged | Two-week review included |
| Prescribing | Remote sign-off from a prescriber who never meets you | A prescriber attends in person and assesses you face to face |
I am not going to tell you that expensive means good — it does not, and there are excellent practitioners charging less than this. But a price well below the local market means something in that table has been cut, and asking which is a fair question to put to any clinic, including this one.
Common questions
- How much does marionette lines cost at Charis Aesthetics?
- £350, as a fixed price. A consultation is £30 deposit, redeemed against your treatment.
- Is the consultation included?
- A consultation is £30, and it comes off the cost of your treatment if you decide to go ahead. If you choose not to proceed, the £30 covers the assessment time.
- Why is it cheaper elsewhere?
- Genuine product, proper indemnity, single-use equipment, hyaluronidase held on site and a practitioner registered with a professional body all cost money. Prices well below the local market usually mean one of those has been cut, and it is worth asking which.
- Can I spread the cost?
- Payment plans are available on many treatments. Ask at consultation and we will go through the options.
- Is marionette line filler worth it?
- It depends entirely on whether the thing bothering you is a volume problem, and that is worth establishing before you spend anything. Filler is excellent value where structure has been lost and poor value where the real issue is skin quality or laxity — in which case it will disappoint you at any price. If your assessment shows that, you will be told, and you will not be sold a syringe to be polite.
Serving Bacup, Rawtenstall, Haslingden, Ramsbottom, Burnley and the wider Rossendale valley.
